This piece i drew in inks seven years ago. I recently came back to it and enhanced it digitally.
The archmages wings are also the source of his imprisonment, and as he tears at his prison he also tears down his world. Or something.

It's a pity that there is no detailed Fullview for this because I would like to explore some deatils I'm not entirely sure what they could be. I like the idea of being imprisoned in or by oneself - at least that is what you comment tells me between the lines. To free ourself from our own imprisonment we nessecarily have to destroy our world and the chains to be able to free us from everything before we can start to build up something new....

There is def` that element to it. My main idea when drawing it was that he`s trapped and trying to solve a mystery to escape, but your interpretation is more positive i think :)
